Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Graduates, Friends, and Colleagues!

It is a great honor to represent the Association of Graduates and Friends of Our Alma Mater. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the trust placed in me and the opportunity to serve as President of the Board. I am aware of the challenges and responsibilities that this role entails.

On behalf of the entire board of the association, I would like to warmly welcome both current and new members of the Association, as well as those who will join us in the future. I appreciate that you have entrusted me with this responsibility, and I promise that I will do my best to ensure that TAIPUM is actively involved in scientific, cultural, and sporting events. I hope that this will strengthen collegial relations within our academic community and the ranks of the association. The first such opportunity is the celebration of the 75th anniversary of our Alma Mater, in the preparations for which the members of the association are involved. This anniversary will also be an opportunity[MD1]  to present our association. I want to mention that the 30th anniversary of the English-language medical education, which will take place on November 22 this year, will be an opportunity to interest graduates who have scattered around the world in the activities of the society. I hope that welcoming them as members will enable us to establish interesting contacts in Europe, North America, and Asia.

I am confident that our fruitful cooperation will allow us to achieve success together.

Piotr Stachurski, MD, PhD, University Professor

President of the Board of the Society of  the Medical University of Lublin Alumni  and Friends Association ( TAIPUM)
